The Blossom of Fiber Art 2013: Public Art Exhibition

Featuring the works of Needle Art Constructionists

The Blossom of Fiber Art is a two day public art exhibition that features the work of fiber and needle artists who construction works through the mediums of crochet, knit, felting, quilting, weaving and fiber fusion.  The Blossom of Fiber Art will utilize the natural landscape of Harlem’s St. Nicholas Park to display soft sculptured floral arrangements and or plant life nested in Terracotta pots and decorative chairs. With St. Nicholas’ Park as the back drop, the work of fiber art constructionists will engage community novice and artists, beautify the community and grow the dialog about cultural art and preservation.

All fiber and needle artists are invited to craft, talk and network with other constructionists on the Great Lawn of St. Nicholas Park.
